God’s Activity: we are to be Administrators in the marketplace and enterprise

God is not calling us to just have experiences with Him

He is calling us into a lifestyle

We use faith for events

He wants us to use it for the way that we live

The just shall live by faith – Heb 10:38

Is there anything that you are doing that does not require faith?

If you are not having to use faith to live,

then is the way you’re living pleasing God?

Without faith it is impossible to please Him. – Heb 11:6   

When we think of faith,

We think of having the key that opens the door to get what we want or need

                    We think that having faith obligates God to do what we want

Faith is NOT about getting something from God

Faith is NOT about what God does for me

          Faith is about what I do for God

Consider this:

The greatest episodes of faith didn’t start w/God doing something for us

They were when we acted in faith to do what God wanted

I do what God tells me to do, not because I want something from God

          But because I want God

          And I want the life He designed for me

God is constantly dropping thoughts, giving me ideas, nudging

          Are you acting on those things?

Are you taking too long to think about it, or disregarding as fleeting thoughts?

Is it a little bit scary, a little bit bigger than you

          Then it requires faith

If it’s safe… and you can do it without faith… listen again

2 Cor 5:7

We walk by faith, not by sight.

Most of us live by what we see, what we can figure out, what we can calculate

          If we can’t see it…

Rom 10:17 ESV

So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God.

Notice the difference in the senses related to faith – sight & sound

‘That sound’ comes “through” the Word

          Preposition implying motion

                    This word is Rhema – a spoken word; the living Word

Isaiah 30:21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Ps 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Acts 2:17

In the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Dreams & Visions that stir yearnings in your heart

Intentionally listen to God & dare to Do…

Walk of Faith knows failure

          Abram giving birth to Ishmael

Peter walking on the water

Faith doesn’t quit

Don’t doubt – Lord, help my unbelief
