What Will Your Reward Be?
Most people, believers and non-believers, can tell you about hell
But they don’t have a clue about rewards in heaven
The Judgement Seat of Christ
2 Cor 5:10 NIV
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
This is the judgement of Believers
It is not about judging you on your righteousness
That was addressed with the work of Jesus
John 5:24
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
As a Believer, you will be judged on your works since salvation
whether God accepts your work as valuable to Kingdom building and advance
or whether it was worthless
1 Cor 3:12-15
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
We have wasted so much time trying not to “misbehave” to get into heaven & avoid hell
Instead of spending our energies doing things that profit Kingdom advancement
We will be rewarded for...
works indestructible by fire 1 Cor 3:13-15
faithfulness to God’s calling Matt 25:14-30
treatment of the brethren Matt 25:40; 1 John 3:14; 4:17
