Increase for Impact

Pastor Hunt’s Responsibilities to You

1.     Empower You to Live in Increase and L.I.F.T. (Life in Favorable Transition)

2.     Equip You to Make an Impact

Your Responsibilities to Your Church

1.     Serve with an Attitude of Ownership

2.     You are to Work for Increase

Increase is innate in us

Genesis 1:27–28

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him;

male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

God put in you the SEEDS for Increase & Success

Like the parable of the talents – We all have different Abilities

When we work our unique Ability, God expects us to Increase & Succeed

When we cause Increase, He Increases us More

Matthew 25:21, 29

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’

29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance.

But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

The Key to Increase – Prov 11:24-25

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer;

another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched,

and one who waters will himself be watered.

The Cycle of Increase

You bless – you will be enriched

You water – you will be watered back

When we think “Blessing” we think Increase

·       Passively – we think we’re going to get something without effort on our part

·       Financially – we too often limit blessings to financial increase

Consider this:

When God blesses you financially, it’s not to spend, but to Increase

Why does God bless us?

Gen 1:28 – God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply

Gen 12:2 – I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing.

There’s a Responsibility that comes with Increase

·        Subdue

·        Rule

·        Lead

·        “I will put you in charge of many things” Matt 25:21

God Increases you for Impact

1 Tim 1:16
I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost [sinner], Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

2 Cor 1:4

[God] comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Ps 51:12-13

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Luke 22:31-32

"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,

32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail.

And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."

Every time God Increases us, we should make Impact

Today’s testimonies from the Missions Team are examples of Impact

In turn, the Team members were Increased

·       We experience Increase, then make Impact

·       Those who we Impact, experience Increase

·       Then, they Impact others…

Increase for Impact / Impact for Increase

Our Impact should carry over into the future

We are to leave an Inheritance
